Mineral Shed Felt 10m Roll
Our Super Green Mineral Shed Felt provides a durable and attractive waterproof covering for sheds and other non-habitable garden buildings. Each roll measures 10m x 1m, giving a total roll area of 10m² before allowing for overlaps and trimming.
The traditional green mineral finish complements timber buildings while helping protect the roofing membrane from sunlight and changing weather conditions. Strong, Flexible and Weather-Resistant
This high-performance roofing felt combines a polyester-reinforced carrier with flexible, modified bitumen. The polyester reinforcement forms a strong and robust base, while the bitumen layer creates an effective barrier against rain and moisture.
In addition, the mineral-finished upper surface improves UV stability and gives the roof a neat, traditional appearance. As a result, this felt provides dependable protection without looking out of place on a timber garden building.
When correctly installed and maintained, this premium shed felt can achieve a life expectancy of up to 15 years. However, installation quality, weather exposure and ongoing maintenance will all affect its service life.

Installation Guidance
Before installation, make sure the roof deck is clean, dry, smooth and free from raised nails or sharp edges. Replace any damaged or rotten roof boards before laying the new felt.
Next, measure and cut each section while allowing enough material for overlaps, edges and trimming. Pull the felt flat without overstretching it, and then secure it with suitable galvanised clout nails and compatible roofing-felt adhesive. Pay particular attention to overlaps, ridges and roof edges because these areas face the greatest risk of water entering beneath the covering.
Always follow the instructions supplied with the roll, as fixing centres, overlaps and adhesive requirements may vary between manufacturers.

Maintenance
For the best long-term performance, regularly remove leaves, twigs and other debris from the roof. In addition, cut back nearby branches and climbing plants that could puncture or damage the felt. Finally, inspect the roof after severe weather and repair lifted edges or damaged sections promptly.
